Is my Blackberry “Unlocked”?

To determine BlackBerry is “unlocked” or “locked” for use on carriers other than for which it is branded:
- Go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Sim Card.
- Type “MEPD” (without quotes, off course, for Sure Type keyboard, please type MEPPD to get P)
- See Network status, if the status is “Inactive”, Congratulation !, your Blackberry is unlocked and can be used for other operators.
