Suatu hari di sebuah desa di bali,
seorang yg kaya raya mngumumkan akan membeli monyet dgn harga Rp.100rb per ekornya.
Para penduduk desa yang menyadari bahwa banyak monyet disekitar desa pun mulai masuk hutan dan menangkapinya.

Si orang kaya membeli ribuan ekor monyet dgn hrg 100rb rupiah, krnnya monyet semakin sulit dicari, penduduk desa pun menghentikan usaha menangkapi monyet.
Maka si orang kaya pun sekali lagi mengumumkan akan membeli monyet dengan harga 200rb rupiah per ekor. Tentu saja hal ini memberi semangat baru bagi penduduk desa untuk mulai menangkapi monyet lagi. Tak berapa lama, jumlah monyet pun semakin sedikit dan semakin sulit dicari dan penduduk pun kembali bertani. Hrg monyet pun merambat naik hingga 250rb namun monyet sdh sangat sulit dicari..

Sekali lagi si orang kaya mengumumkan akan membeli monyet dengan harga 500rb rupiah per ekor..!

Namun, karena si orang kaya harus pergi ke kota kareba urusan bisnis, asisten-nya akan menggantikannya atas namanya. Dgn tiada kehadiran si orang kaya, si asisten pun berkata pada penduduk desa: “Lihatlah monyet2 yang ada di kurungan besar yang dikumpulkan oleh si orang kaya itu. Saya akan menjual monyet2 itu kepada kalian dengan harga 350rb per ekor dan saat si orang kaya kembali, kalian bisa menjualnya kembali ke si orang kaya dengan harga 500rb rupiah! Bagaimana?”

Akhirnya, penduduk desa pun mengumpulkan uang simpanan mereka dan membeli semua monyet yang ada di kurungan.

Namun… kemudian, mereka tak pernah lagi melihat si orang kaya maupun si asisten..!

It has been reported plantar fasciitis occurs in two million Americans a year and 10% of the population over a lifetime.[1] It is commonly associated with long periods of work-related weight bearing. Among non-athletic populations, it is associated with a high body mass index(obesity).[2] The pain is usually felt on the underside of the heel, often most intense with the first steps of the day. Masalah :

Dokter, saya seorang wanita berusia 26 tahun, berat badan agak berlebih dan mempunyai kebiasaan jalan cepat-cepat. Saya mempunyai keluhan nyeri pada telapak kaki kanan saya saat menapak lantai. Nyeri dirasakan pada daerah dibawah tumit, rasanya seperti ada duri yang menusuk-nusuk, hal ini terutama dirasakan pada pagi hari saat bangun tidur saat menginjak lantai. Nyeri juga dirasakan jika terlalu banyak berdiri dan berjalan kaki. Saya telah berobat ke dokter dan diberikan obat minum tapi belum banyak membantu, karena keluhan masih sering timbul. Apakah yang dapat saya lakukan untuk mengurangi keluhan pada tumit kaki kanan saya tersebut? Mohon saran Dokter. Sebelumnya saya mengucapkan terima kasih atas penjelasannya.

Mengenai penyakit yang Saudari derita kemungkinan adalah suatu Fasciitis Plantaris, dalam hal ini Fasciitis Plantaris kaki sebelah kanan.

Fasciitis Plantaris adalah suatu penyakit akibat radang pada jaringan lunak yang terdapat dibawah tulang-tulang kaki di daerah telapak kaki. Radang ini dapat terjadi akibat adanya iritasi kronis dan dalam jangka waktu lama terhadap jaringan telapak kaki tersebut.

Faktor-faktor yang dapat memicu terjadinya Fasciitis Plantaris adalah sebagai berikut:

- Pergerakkan kaki yang cepat dan berlebihan (banyak berjalan, berlari, jalan tergesa-gesa).

- Sepatu yang tidak cocok dan tidak nyaman digunakan.

- Berat badan yang berlebihan.

- Kelainan pada telapak kaki seperti terjadinya perkapuran pada tulang tumit atau telapak kaki yang rata/ flat foot (dimana tidak terdapatnya lekukan pada bagian sebelah dalam telapak kaki).

Untuk memastikan adanya perkapuran pada tulang tumit dapat dilakukan foto roentgen pada kaki, akan tampak ‘calcaneus spur’.

Penatalaksanaan Fasciitis Plantaris adalah:

1. Hilangkan faktor-faktor penyebab:

- Jika berat badan berlebih, berusaha melakukan diet yang baik dan seimbang disertai olahraga secara teratur.

- Hilangi kebiasaan jalan dengan tergesa-gesa, berjalanlah dengan santai, rileks dan dengan langkah yang seimbang.

- Saat hendak membeli sepatu atau sandal biasakan selalu dicoba terlebih dahulu agar sepatu/ sandal tersebut terasa nyaman dan enak saat dipakai, selain model yang up to date tentunya.

2. Fisioterapi:

- Untuk mengurangi proses radang dan nyeri dapat diberikan diatermi berupa SWD ataupun USD pada telapak kaki tersebut.

3. Sepatu koreksi:

- Pemberian ‘Heel Cap’ pada daerah tumit untuk kasus perkapuran pada tulang tumit.

- Pemberian ‘Medial Weidge’ untuk kasus kaki rata/ flat foot.

4. Advis:

- Kontras Bath (dengan merendam kaki pada air hangat dan dingin secara bergantian) dapat mengurangi nyeri pada telapak kaki jika dilakukan secara rutin dan teratur.

- Biasakan tidak telanjang kaki dan selalu memakai sandal dengan sol/ alas yang lunak atau berbahan karet lembut.

- Saat bangun tidur pagi biasakan mengosok-gosokkan kedua telapak kaki sehingga terasa hangat terlebih dahulu baru kemudian menginjakkan kaki ke lantai.

- Jika berjalan jauh diusahakan agar beristirahat sejenak, jangan dipaksakan untuk berjalan terus jika kaki sudah letih dan timbul rasa sakit.
